Outreach Events Summary

Through the year the Church aims to reach out to the local community in a number of ways .

These are a few examples, regular and / or special one-off events:

London to Brighton Cycle Run

• We provide hospitality to cyclists who ride for many good causes, as encouraged by scripture.

Alive 05

• A Turners Hill Free Church initiative in 2005 including a childrens Fun week, Ladies pamper afternoon, men's dinner, bbq and youth activities to mention a few.......

Hope 08

• Joining with the national programme of family events to make known the Good News of Jesus

The Alpha Course

• A popular and informative series of talks aimed at those who wish to know more about the Christian faith.

Men's & Ladies' Breakfasts

• Breakfasts held on Saturday mornings once a quarter.

Celebrating the Community 2008

• A Turners Hill Free Church event for the village recognising the talent and contribution to Village life by members of the community, supported by Lou Fellingham and her band Phatfish.

Children's Holiday Clubs

• Run during the summer school holiday period.  There will not be one in 2010  as the leaders give up holidays will have a break this year . 

Soul Survivor

• A group goes to Soul Survivor Camp at Shepton Mallett Showground in August
