Friday Club

Who is it for? 5 to 10 year olds

Where is it? Turners Hill Free Church Hall

What time? 5pm-6pm Fridays during term time

The group begins with some fun games and follows with crab football, skipping, refreshments and a story. We try to end the hour with a relaxing, quiet activity so that Mums and Dads collect fairly calm kids! The club has a reputation for noise and fun but we still manage to teach the children about Jesus. It is so encouraging to see more children praying for their own situations and losing the fear of praying aloud.

J.A.Y.s

Who is it for? 11 to 14 year olds

Where is it? Turners Hill Free Church Hall

What time? 7pm-8:30pm Fridays during  term time

Jays begins with registration and free time (which usually involves table tennis, pool or a chaotic game of football!) and is followed by the Tuck shop opening for that much needed sugar intake! We usually have an organised activity such as tournament darts and quizzes with prizes for the winners. Once every term we take the group out for an 'outside' activity, including archery, rock climbing and scavenger hunts! And all this for a mere entrance fee of £1!
